Don Ed Hardy is a retired American tattoo artist who licensed his iconic designs and brand in the early 2000s to be used in a line of exclusive clothing. We were approached to undertake a full retail space fit out and worked closely with the client to build a shop environment that would reflect the artistry of Hardy’s artwork and showcase the product. Tattoo artwork is extremely vibrant, and Hardy used strong colours and very impactful images, so we needed to make sure the retail space reflected this. The ceiling and floor design were integral to the overall experience and really complemented the space.
